SettleDesk

For cross-border e-commerce sellers

Your money sold abroad. Now get it home.

SettleDesk is a plain-spoken desk for the part nobody explains: how each channel pays out, how to repatriate it in Indonesia, Brazil and Nigeria, and what the fees really are before they vanish into a rounding error.

Already decided to open an OKX account?

Use invite code OK99688 — copy it and enter it on OKX's own site. We deliberately don't put a jump link here. To judge whether the exchange route is worth it at the convert step, start with the fee tables. Signing up with this code may earn us up to a 20% share of trading fees, at no extra cost to your rate. Not investment advice.

Common questions

What does "settlement" mean for a cross-border seller?

It's the whole path money travels from a customer's card to your usable local-currency balance: the channel collects it, a payout provider holds and disburses it, you repatriate it home, and you convert it. Fees and delays hide at every step, which is why we map the chain instead of just naming one "best" tool.

Is SettleDesk affiliated with Amazon, Shopify, Payoneer or OKX?

No. SettleDesk is independent and isn't operated by any platform, bank or exchange. Some links are sponsored or affiliate and are clearly labelled. We are not a licensed financial adviser, and nothing here is investment advice.

Do you tell me which currency or asset to hold?

No. We explain how the tools work and what they cost so you can decide. We never predict prices or promise returns. If a guide mentions an exchange, it's about moving and converting money you already earned, not speculation.

How current is the fee and policy information?

Each guide carries a "checked" date and we review the core pages quarterly. Payout policies and FX rates change often, so always confirm live numbers with the provider before you move money. Where we cite a figure, we link the primary source.

Start with the chain

Stop guessing where your money went.

Read the pillar on what settlement really costs, then go deep on your channel and market. No fluff, no hype: just the chain, the fees, and the playbooks, kept current.
